Position Summary

The Client Finance Analyst is responsible for the day-today financial activity of an assigned client portfolio. The analyst is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the financial data related to the client’s relocation program. They ensure that expense payments are audited to relocation policies and client contracts. The Client Finance Analyst is also responsible for the timely and accurate invoicing of all expenses plus billing as well for the clients as well as managing the month/quarter/year-end presorting processes. In addition, they are a resource to our clients, to the Client Service team and the rest of the department to answer tax and expense questions. This position will interact daily with the Client Service delivery team and may also interact with a Client’s internal/external accounting, payroll and/or tax departments.

Functions and Responsibilities

% of Time - Description of Duty

40%

  • Audit and process transferring employee payments and communicate with the Operations counterpart for approvals and exceptions.
  • Ensure that all payments are correctly coded for both classification and taxability.

25%

  • Responsible for the preparation of invoicing to clients, which includes all required invoicing reports and reconciliation.

20%

  • Responsible for all preparation and auditing to client policy of all Client financial data and reports prior to submission to Client. This includes all reporting requirements for each client and includes monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports per client and Director of Client Engagement requests.

10%

  • Review and audit to client policy destination supplier invoices.

5%

  • Assist in training and special projects as needed. This would include mentoring for on-the-job training, employee development and acting as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications and Preferred Skills

  • Must be detail oriented and have good analytical skills
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in accounting/finance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a team and deadline driven environment
  • Financial/Accounting knowledge preferred
  • Intermediate level of Excel skills
